stars in my hand

My smile reached from ear to ear when I saw that it snowed today. It's been a while since I've seen snow, and it's still just as magical as the first time. I love how the snow seems to dance its way around the sky, while it slowly descends to the ground. If you try and capture it in your hand, it dissolves quickly, and then it's gone. I like the illusion that snow gives, it's so wonderfully beautiful but it can be threatening at the same time. It can make you become cold and wet, if you stay under it for too long.

Even though it pretty much stops the city here, London is definetly not prepared for extreme amounts of snow, I still loved that today was a snowy day. It's a piece of rare magic in your hands.
