around the corner

Love was on the corner, she could feel it, it was going up her spin and placing butterflies in her stomach. they fluttered and they wouldn't stay still. she wasn't sure when it had come so close, so reachable, but she could feel everything changing. all that she had previously believed about herself seemed to diminuish as she grew more and more in love with one object in mind.
It started coming closer, so soon was it to arrive?! how long had she waited for this one moment, this particular moment when she would stare love straight in its face. how would it feel like? she suddenly felt afraid, maybe even unworthy of a love so consuming that it would come to her.
