music diary: overjoyed

I am sure most of you have heard about Bastille by now. It's a band from London that began with singer-song writer Dan Brown. I first listened to their song,"Overjoyed" a few weeks ago and I loved it. I must say, I prefer their acoustic versions to their songs. The official videos are cool because of the different concepts and eerie feel to them, but their acoustic versions are songs that cut into the heart. At least, that's how I feel when I listen to them.

 

How awesome that they sang in the British Musuem!

And this one is especially beautiful, because it includes different other musicians such as Emily and the Wood and To Kill a King.

 

Just one more reason to fall in love with the British
