music diary: maybe I pulled the panic chord

It has been a while since I posted one of these, right? It's sad to admit that I haven't really found any new music lately. I don't know if you have gone through this, but there are periods in my life that I don't listen to music - not in the, I am going to analyze, think and sit on this music, kind of listening. I have been listening to favorites and addictive pop songs.

I started to listen to Gabrielle Aplin about a year ago. She's a singer-songwriter from England and recieved attention when she posted some covers on youtube. What I love about her is that she writes gently and truthfully.  A lot of her lyrics resonate with me, I feel like I've been through a lot of what she sings about...
